"As a queer woman of colour, our director wants to be able to tell a story others can identify with, but also tell a story coloured in her filmmaking influences and personal experiences. Female characters are still too often reduced to archetypes on screen. This short presents the raw, uncensored and often fragile complexities that make up the wider spectrum of the 'coming out process."
